How to Sell Lightroom Presets Over 20MB on Etsy
Desktop Lightroom presets are featherweight — an XMP file is a few kilobytes. If that's all preset sellers shipped, Etsy's caps would be irrelevant. But most Etsy preset buyers edit on their phones, and mobile means DNG.

The DNG trap is real: export your preset carrier from a full-resolution photo and a single preset file exceeds Etsy's entire per-file cap. Shrinking the carrier image works, but it takes deliberate effort per preset, and many sellers discover the problem at upload time.
Even with disciplined 2 MB DNGs, a 50-preset pack plus both install guides passes 100 MB. The product that Etsy's caps comfortably fit — XMP only — is the product mobile buyers can't install.
