Getting started

Set up OrderFiles for your shop in a few minutes. Upload your files once, connect your orders, and every buyer gets a verified download page.

First: create your shop and upload your files

Sign up, create your shop, and add a product for each item you sell. Upload files up to 5 GB each, with 50 GB of storage included. Each product gets its own branded download link that includes your shop and product name.

The guided onboarding takes you through every step, including a test order so you can see exactly what your buyers will see before you go live.

Deliver Etsy orders

Etsy delivery works through order email forwarding. You forward your Etsy order confirmation emails to your shop's private OrderFiles address, and OrderFiles uses them to verify each buyer's purchase.

    Get your forwarding address

    Every shop gets a private OrderFiles email address. Find it in your delivery settings after you create your shop.

    Forward your Etsy order emails

    Set up a forwarding rule in the inbox that receives your Etsy order notifications. OrderFiles has step-by-step setup for Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud right in your delivery settings, and for Gmail it shows the verification code for you.

    Match your product titles

    OrderFiles matches each forwarded order to your products by title. Use the exact title from your Etsy listing. Small punctuation differences are fine, but a different name means the order won't import.

    Add your download link to your Etsy listing

    Paste your OrderFiles link into a short PDF or text file and upload it as the digital file on your Etsy listing. Buyers get it the moment they purchase.

    Buyers unlock their files

    Your buyer opens the link and enters their Etsy order number or email. OrderFiles verifies the purchase and unlocks every file you attached.

Which inbox works?

Forward from any inbox that supports forwarding or rules. Pick your provider in your delivery settings and OrderFiles shows the exact steps.

  • GmailFree. Guided setup — we catch Gmail's confirmation code and show it right here.
  • OutlookFree. Add a rule that forwards Etsy order emails to the address above.
  • iCloudFree. Add a rule in iCloud Mail that forwards Etsy order emails to the address above.
  • YahooForwarding is a paid Yahoo Mail Plus feature. The reliable path is a free inbox.
  • Proton MailForwarding needs a paid Proton plan and drops end-to-end encryption. A free inbox is simpler.
  • Other providerAny inbox with forwarding or rules works — send Etsy order emails to the address above.

What you need for this path

  • An Etsy shop with order notification emails turned on.
  • An inbox that can forward email. Gmail, Outlook, and iCloud are free; Yahoo and Proton need a paid plan, or point Etsy at a free inbox instead.
  • OrderFiles product titles that match your Etsy listing titles.

Deliver Shopify orders

Shopify delivery is a direct connection. Once your store is connected, orders sync to OrderFiles automatically.

    Open your OrderFiles settings, enter your store domain (like mystore.myshopify.com), and approve the connection in Shopify.

    Orders sync automatically

    New Shopify orders flow into OrderFiles on their own. No email forwarding, no manual steps.

    Share your download link

    Add your OrderFiles link to your product page or order confirmation. Buyers unlock their files with their order number or email.

What you need for this path

  • A Shopify store where you can approve app connections.
  • The connection stays authorized. If you disconnect, new orders stop syncing until you reconnect.
